I find it hard to visualize laying on my side. I prefer to lay on my back. But the best position for me is sitting in a chair when doing it

I don't know if this has been asked before but do you have to lay on your back? I been finding it easier to visualise and feel when I lay on my side like if I'm facing him next to me. Sometimes I'll even cuddle a pillow. When I do PW I lay on my back and have no trouble but when I try and do BWD I just can't seem to be able to feel him on my back, it's like we are separated. Does anyone else do PW/BWD not on their back?
I frequently lay on my side and it works fine for me. I see him laying in my bed next to me and talking to me in that
position and I am getting good results from my visualizations. Also, I think it's okay to start on your back and move
to a more comfortable position during the meditation session. Once you've done the meditations long enough to
"know" what you're doing, I think that you can make some modifications to suit your needs with no problems.
