I think that the easiest way to maintain/manifest a relationship is to stay in communication.  You gave him the
brush off and went NC because he seemed bored?  Perhaps next time politely text something like -

"Goodnight, I will TTYL"

or whatever instead of leaving him hanging by abruptly disconnecting and now you are left wondering what you
should do next.  Have you read Lanie's books?  Have you started meditating?
