That is so lovely for him to text you at midnight and then the following day too. And to say that about you and your mom, how special is that. So happy for you

Sorry to start a new thread but I felt like this was a pretty big announcement Kinda ...
If you read my last thread you know where I started and where I am now.  Last night my ex texted me happy Valentine's Day on the stroke of midnight which I thought was really cute... we chatted a bit then I went to bed . today I guess he wanted to start up another conversation so he texted me again happy Valentine's Day I responded again and he asked me how my day was.  I told him that I brought all my colleagues chocolates at work and then after he responded with " you're always sooo sweet and you have such a heart of gold"  I told him thanks and then I got my good heart from my mother.  He then responded " you and your mom are so awesome and I love you both very much"

he's never said anything like that before even though I knew it was in a friendly way that he said it...he still said it!

when we were in a relationship he never told me because he told me that his heart was in capable of loving anybody because of his past hurt. I explained this in my last thread so this is a great step  in the right direction!!
