Also, donna, don't refer to him as your "ex" anymore - as that will just keep showing up in your reality. 
Refer to him as your man or love, whichever. But labeling him as your "ex" will keep him as such because that is all the universe hears - so he will remain that way until your view of him changes.

my exes mum doesnt like me -even though i was lovely to her which hurt me coz i wnt out of my way to be be nice to her and ive found out recently that she told my ex that he's never to get back with me and that hes making a mistake it wont work blah blah he's almost scared of her which is pathetic i know. but obvly im using my pw/ bwd on him but i just figured should i use it on his mum to make her not interfere or tell him good things about me or for her to tell him to contact me 
can that be done and how would i do it. do i imagine her in front of me or what lol if any one has any ideas or advice that be great THanks
