Pride/ego maybe? I'm thinking they don't want to seem too attached to you or show that kind of vulnerability. Especially if it's a situation where you haven't talked to them in a while or they don't know if you're feeling the same way?
Im curious too, thoughts on this anyone?

I'd like to hear what others think about this

I've been wanting to post this similar question for about 2 days now, but have refrained from doing so for some reason. I must've attracted this into my experience Thanks for sharing! I haven't done PW in months and decided to start again a few days ago. Since then, he actually called me on the phone to ask me to hang out with him (he hasn't called me on the phone since our break up..only texts) after the first day I started PW, but since then he has been acting sort of distant. I am taking it as a good sign as I know my messages are reaching him
He's probably nervous. I get cold around guys I like because I'm shy.
oh ok, because I saw him and he acted kind of different from before, he acted more cold than the usual, it was almost rude.
Yes because it's such strong feelings. It can scare some people. They can randomly block you, unfriend you, ignore your messages etc.
Hi, just wondering I read somewhere one time that if RS/PW is working on them they can act kind of rude towards you sometimes, as a way of resistance? Can that happen?
