I love all music. This morning I was rockin out to some corny old music from back
in the 70s like Neil Sedaka's Laughter in the Rain. I love those songs, I was singing
along and dancing and my husband was looking at me like I was crazy. LOLs.
I love this song, and the lyrics capture the spirit of what Lanie is telling all of us--guys can say whatever he wants, but they need to earn our love. It helps lift my vibe a lot. And it's good to dance to!
"Show Me Love" by Robin S.
And here are the lyrics:
Heartbreaks and promises
I've had more than my shareI'm tired of giving my love
And getting nowhere, nowhereWhen I need somebody who really care
I wouldn't need a lover who wants to be there
It's been so long since I've touched the wanting hand
I'll put my love on the line
Yes, I hope you'll understand
So, baby if you want me
You've got to show me love
Words are so easy to say
But you've got to show me love
But you've got to show me love
But you've got to show me love
Baby, I need youWhat I need is somebody who will always be there
Don't you promise me the word
Word that I already heard
This time, call me baby
Actions speak louder than words
If you're looking for devotion, talk to me
