I keep reading stay positive, keep thinking you're together, circumstances don't matter etc..but this is one year! I hate that could become a ghost, someone I might never hear from again because he didn't want me or found someone better. We had such an intense thing. I still think about him all the time. What do I do from here?

I've been on my journey since the middle of August last year, and have recently selected another POI that I see on a daily basis. I know the techniques work every time as I have experimented quite a bit. With my new POI, I have gotten somewhat attached and I see it in him every day that it is working. Meanwhile, I started to think that I don't really care if my old POI returns. This is when I noticed he started creeping my social media, and initiating contact again. I would bet anything that your guy will do the same. If you let him go (detach), he will come back to you.  One of the down sides of the techniques is that you get attached to whomever you are using them on which makes it hard to detach. With my old POI, I was only doing the techniques briefly (10 minutes or less) the last little while as I thought of him. I don't want to imply that you should give up, but working on another POI seems to be doing the trick right now for me.
