I remember years ago everyone on another forum was so upset because they were single on V-Day and I was so happy just watching The Godfather and having a pepperoni pizza and a cheeseburger for dinner. Best V-Day ever lol

Yes, I have plans for V-Day.  And then what I usually do the day after, I hit the stores (especially Walgreens)
and buy some fab CHOCOLATES for half price.  If there's anything left around day three, they are 75% off!!! 
Maybe even 80%!!!  So you can get a really big beautiful fancy heart shaped box of CHOCOLATES for really
cheap and the only person that knows that you got it after V-Day is you.  


 

I love your post!  Thank you for posting something positive and uplifting.  Too often V-Day is a downer and it shouldn't be!  It's just another day of the week and a good reason to eat a bunch of chocolate!  :-)

You can have both with candles that smell like food.  Besides the obvious apples, melons, coconuts and
spice fragrances, I once found a clearance sale of Yankee candles that smell like bacon.  I haven't
burned them yet, they are in the jar but the smell has permeated through and they are quite pungent,
smells kind of like crazy Virginia ham. 

I guess that's why they were on clearance.  LOLs

I guess they like it mostly for the scent, but I'm a big believer that if you want your place to smell good, then just fill it up with food lol

OMG I am such a candle person.  Candles, melts, oils, incense and all types of holders.  I have a crazy 12" dragon

head incense burner where the smoke comes out of his nostrils.  He's the bomb,  I have a massive collection of

glass votives, tealites, candlesticks, hurricane lanterns, Maroccan lanterns, sconces and floating candle cups.

I've got a shelf rack in one of my spare bedrooms just for candle stuff.  And I light my candles even when I'm just

taking a shower and they are all over my bathroom and boudoir.  I wish I could post some pix.  I once ordered

some hurricanes from Amazon they mistakenly sent votive candle trees that I never would have chosen -

but once they were here I told customer service there was no way I was going to send any candle thing back

to them.  I paid for the wrong ones plus they sent the originals.  That was when I knew I was a candle nut.
