    Hi sweetie, agree with Indigo.
Be careful and perhaps stick to alpha meditations instead.

I've read that it takes a person years to master inducing theta and staying concious to visualize, your body has to be trained adequately to cope. I posted yesterday on Blue's thread about my experience with theta binaural beats, when i stop listening to a track my body reacts within a few seconds with an accelerated heart beat, it feels like an adrenalin rush. Now that you have posted about your experience, i am starting to suspect that it is the body's physiological response to coming out of theta too soon and going into 'shock'.  I am not a medical professional so i could be wrong but be very careful all of you who listen to theta binaurals.

I think my body was in a similar state as when you are under anesthesia. That's why my lungs acted that way. You breathe a lot more shallow when you go under. I'm fine now. My lung capacity is full again. It was strange. Maybe not do it all the time just on rare occasions? Because I was doing it more than once a day. I'll stick to silent meditation with my noise blocking headphones or the guided ones. Maybe I was doing it too frequently?

I don't have health problems that I know of. I guess I'll stop just in case with the theta state meditating.

Just now I was meditating pw with the binaural music. I suddenly felt suffocated like my breathing was shallow like the time I came out of surgery and I couldn't get my lungs to open up fully. The session itself was going well and I felt good about it but I felt like my lungs were deflated. I had to force myself to breathe deeply. I don't know what happened.

I read about the brainwaves and about if you are in theta state and if you do it too often that it can be dangerous for your health sometimes so they stopped doing it I'm not sure if that's what happened but maybe someone else can elaborate on that!

If you have a serious medical condition as you have described, you should discontinue doing
this until you check with your doctors.  In the meanwhile, just do normal meditation sessions.
