    Lanie has said before (maybe on the Lipstick Ally forum?) That you can do the meditations on your back or side, so long as you don't cross your body parts so the energy isn't blocked. I believe it was in her Love Spell and EFT  book that she talk briefly about energy meridians needing to be open. I often lay on my side since it's more comfortable for me.
