Does PW BWD make you emotional?

I noticed I'm able to let go and move on easily, but if I do PW BWD in the morning or afternoon, I'm emotional all day. If I do it at night, I can't sleep. It's making me feel very sad. I keep seeing CTC. Where can I find that? Will that eliminate this feeling? I have small kids so a lot of times my sessions get cut short so there may not be time to CTC. Any advise?

Re: Does PW BWD make you emotional?

I've never felt sadness afterwards.  Maybe it is the POI's feelings you are feeling.  Whenever I've felt sadness while thinking of my POI,  I'll whisper to them that it's ok.

I agree with Avaelle...  It might be your POI's feelings that you are picking up.  You can find CTC (Cut The Cord) mediation on Lanie's website.  I think it would be very helpful in releasing your POI, it was for me.  If there is not time to do both, alternate them.  I found I felt better and less emotional when I added CTC into my sessions, alone or with PW & BWD.   Hope this helps...

Ohhhh I could see him being sad. That would make sense. Thank you! I'll look into her meditation.

Re: Does PW BWD make you emotional?

I noticed that at times after the PW meditation I was feeling quite sad, at times it was very overwhelming. I felt it at times more when my mind wandered to my POI. I have used the cut the chord several times and it's very helpful. The connection created is very strong, it's important to disconnect. Lanie talks about this topic the threat "For newbies" which is under general discussion I believe. Have fun with it though! I find when I just enjoy and have fun, things are just lighter and more fun. ❤
