I don't know if this falls under success because I have not yet manifested what I want but I believe it was me who was manifested by someone else. I work with autistic students, more specifically adults ages 16-26, and have always (for 10 years) worked with non verbal very low functioning students. Last year , a new student came into out program and would always stop to chat me with when passing by my classroom. He is limited verbal. In the spring, his teacher came to talk to me because this students father told the teacher that K keeps saying next year he will be in room 21 with Miss Tracey. This would not be possible since my side of the building is low functioning and another part has higher functioning. I told him I never said anything anything like that to him and would not ever due to those circumstances lol. He said his dad wasn't upset but was just wondering why he was saying this. Just maybe a little crush.
Well, low and behold, due to administrative decisions, contractual adjustments and staffing changes, I am now on the other side of the building and in K's classroom. His parents said all summer long, he has been talking about me and writing my name, and things like K will be in room 21 with Miss Tracey on every piece of paper he could get ahold of. Just thought this was kinda cute.
