Challenging Marriage

Hello,

I've been married 18 years (no children, but a lot of property/stuff). My husband is very punishing and fits the description of an emotional abuser (his mother emotionally abused him). I have spent the last few years cleaning up my act. I learned about self care, respect for men (I didn't realize that being "helpful" felt disrespectful for him...though he's demanding so I walk on eggshells) and appreciation, etc.

He is chasing other women and wants me to be okay with him having some sort of affair, if the opportunity presents itself. He is always telling me how to do things, undermining my decisions.

I'm here to request support and encouragement to walk away.

Thank you,
KMarie

Sweetheart, worse than being alone is being in an abusive relationship or marriage.  He is torturing you, undermining your self-esteem, making you fearful and hurting you daily.  Please get help and the strength to walk away.  xoxoxoxoxo
