Valentines...

Hello lovely ladies,

Just wanted your thoughts on something please.  Me and my POI have been back in contact for a while now. Things aren't where I want them to be yet but hopefully will be soon. Anyway, I am really tempted to send him something for Valentine's but is that a good idea? Any thoughts would be good please!
Thank you!

I'm not sending mine anything. I don't see a point, he can treat himself - I've done more than enough for him already.

Re: Valentines...

I wouldn't. It would seem desperate. Pw him to send YOU something. He just might. But don't obsess over it.

Re: Valentines...

I agree with Blue, if you want to put significance on the day then make it about you. If you have money to spend then treat yourself. Let him be the one to make the effort.  (wink)

Re: Valentines...

Thanks ladies - I  knew you would help me see sense! Very much like the idea of treating myself to something!

Re: Valentines...

Valentines is going to be hard for some of us, no doubt. But just try to treat yourself and be kind to yourself. No crying or anything like that. Just send love via RS and send him on his way. There will be plenty of Valentines Days you spend together.

I don't have a problem sending my man gifts.  Something small like socks, a cookie tin, some inexpensive
cologne or something he collects, to let him know that you are thinking of him.  Not something expensive
like a watch or other jewelry unless it's really serious.  If you have Amazon Prime, it's super easy, there's
no shipping fee, and they always have good deals.  As to gift-giving, you should do what is in your heart to
do, not what someone else tells you about it.
