This is so true Josh! Even though my love and me are still on friendly terms (he's long distance), he's never shown any signs of feeling my PW/BWD etc apart from last time we spoke when he mentioned saving for a visa.  Apart from this there's been no emotional things said like I miss you, think about you, i'm sorry etc BUT as you said above he could just be keeping things to himself! Thank you.
