I am also trying to do this with two other people, who are guys, but who I don't want romantic stuff with, they are just friends who I have lost contact with.  How different would you make it??

 

  
  
All that matters is that you visualize your target, the background is irrelevant.  
You could imagine a white background, the park, a restaurant, your bedroom
or whatever helps you with your visualization.  If you are trying to manifest
something like, for example, your target buying you a brand new car, then it
would help if you visualize the car or the inside of the dealership.  

Or the jewelry store.
