Just to update,
I was owed a four figure sum of money by a contractor, which was outstanding for just over a month. They paid up just now and called apologising for the delay they caused. 
The last time i used this (months back when it was a challenge) I was reimbursed a 3 figure amount from my insurance provider, which had been outstanding for months that id forgotten about it.
I'm still trying to use this to win money though!
