i think also when you keep doing vizualisations I fear that if it doesn't work out, you may have created an unhealthy obsession

I think LOA has always confused me though. I mean if we really do create our reality and get the things we want if we "believe", how come there's a time frame? Also why is it some things like winning the lottery, are harder to manifest? Surely if it was that simple, you could get whatever you want, but I haven't heard of stories of people winning the lottery.
I want my person back, but need to let it go and enjoy my life and even date other people, and see what happens.
The time frame is more an 'energy frame'. If you would be able to shift your energy directly to the energy of the outcome, there would be instant manifestation. But most of the time your desire comes from a feeling of lack (like with your person) or a feeling of 'not possible' or 'not likely to happen'( like with the lottery).
It is the shifting of the feeling that takes time.

If you are confused, you should definitely read a lot. It's a very simple concept, but some teachers/gurus have made it very complicated. It's easy, but you must be consistent. You should work on your faith and try to get rid of any skepticism and then keep at it.
As far as the lottery goes, there are people who have won the lottery doing loa. For example, there was a lady who decided she was going to win $125 million. She visualized having the money and some other things, and a few months later she won that exact amount.
The only time frame there is, is the one you put there, whether you realize you're doing it or not. If you are constantly focusing on the lack of your desire, instead of living as-if, then you're not going to get it anytime soon. You are creating the resistance that is pushing your desire away.

You won't create an unhealthy obsession. You are raising your vibration. When you radiate at a high vibration your coming from an empowered place. Having an obsession is more negative vibe energy. Radiate high and you won't feel this way.

That sounds like a perfect plan, it's all about you. Break ups suck, no way around it, but they are also an opportunity to grow. Have fun with it too! Play around on people you don't care about or have an attachment to. 😊

It can be both. The techniques work perfectly...but...you can contradict it big time when you worry the rest of the day whether it works, why he hasn't called yet. You are pushing and pulling at the manifestation and whichever energy you sent out the most will bring you the results.
I think you are right, that a big part of the journey is learning to believe that you can create. And when I first started it felt like I had to (energetically) drag him to me myself 😄 Very stressfull! It is only lately that I can calm down, have faith more and let the universe orchestrate.
Some of us on this forum have conscious experience with law of attraction, some of us don't or not that much. And we are starting with something very dear to us, which is very hard to let go of and have faith that it will work out!
One day I just started having fun with small things. Manifesting parking spaces, specific birds in my garden, a squirrel....they all came and my believe that this actually works began growing. And from that point on it got easier....not that I am there yet! (If you ever are) but I am getting the hang of this. At the beginning of this day I decided to get 500 euros today, and I already got 425 😃

Well, Carly100, I will tell you that I agree with your original question/comment about the efficacy of this technique. Of course, there are defenders who say ultimately you're at fault if you don't get results, but that is just an excuse.
"Works every time," and other guarantees are sales pitches to lure you into the fold and prey upon your heartbroken weaknesses. Yes, it's just the sale of a book or two, but it's still a sale.
I began doing Lanie's methods from both PW and BWD in October, 2016 and have nothing to show for all that effort. None of the excuses apply because I had enough pleasant confidence to do it for so long, but I didn't dwell. I just knew I was reaching him and that when the time was right, we'd cross paths and everything would fall into place.
I read this forum and others, including Lanie's site often. I did my research and my visualizations were strong. I kept everything else in my life moving forward, business as usual. I didn't sit around moping.
I wholeheartedly believed it was working which is why I am downright devastated today to discover that it worked alright, just not for me. Apparently my POI is in a new relationship and she's no where near as attractive either physically or in terms of personality.
They do work together, and I am starting to understand that without communication and exposure, the remote seduction needs a path to materialize. In this case, he responded to any influences of attraction by choosing someone within his vicinity, someone he actually sees and can talk to, someone real and tangible before him.
So, all my work BACKFIRED! After (8) months of my time and investment, supposedly Lanie's next step of advice is to move on from the man who is non-responsive toward you, and let the universe bring you someone new. Well, THAT is irresponsible after the promise of "works every time." I even used her Cord Cutting method a long time ago which convinced me then that doing so would just make him "want me more", as she claimed.
I was always positive and loving when doing PW and BWD. I was never negative nor angry. Well, today's a good day to be angry when I feel so cheated by this method which has left me with...NOTHING!!!

Such an angry post there mariaaa, why blame Lanie for your misery? Do you blame the soda company or crisps manufacturer if you purchase them and later gain weight? Do you blame your ex boyfriend or POI for your sadness? Do you blame the company you work for if you are not happy with your work?
We all make choices in life, when we choose happiness, it comes to us; we allow love, it comes to us..if we choose to blame people, well it comes back to us with bitterness.
Reading your post might affect other readers, I am not affected by it because I chose not to be pulled into your negativity. Just like you in the beginning, novice readers are looking for a spark of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel, that pulls them out of their sadness. This forum has done that for me and I will be forever grateful to this forum and Lanie. Please, have some respect for the readers, to Lanie and most especially to yourself, free yourself from the angst, its like a poison to your spirit. Recognize self love and I'm very sure in a few days or weeks you'll feel happy. All the best to you and I only wish you happiness.
