I would stop wasting your mental energy contemplating revenge and start thinking about how you can get you and your son out of the situation sooner.

In the meantime make sure you and your son are never with him alone. Don't have any conversations or interactions with him unless someone else is present.

Then work on manifesting a situation where you and your son can move out into a safer less toxic environment.
