Hi sweetie i just watched this now!

Lol the title of the video is I Am Afraid That My Ex Is Going To Forget About Me - i have actually read that at least once on this forum, when members have been told to go NC.

He gives good advice such as focusing on becoming a better version of yourself, while you are in NC.

All advice given is intended in the best interest of whomever I may be replying to & my opinions may not necessarily reflect those of the wider community on the forum.

Thanks for the video!

I don't know if I should go NC in my case or not. My love (ex) and I are still friends but he is currently seeing someone else. He replies to my messages and sometimes initiates, but recently it's been less frequent. I read some of the blog posts on that coach's website. He said if he blows hot and cold (yes), never mentions the other woman except once to let me know he is seeing someone (yes), and acts distant sometime, it could mean he has some conflicting feelings for me he is trying the resist..

Going full NC could really cause him to "forget" as he has someone else now to fill in the emotional void. In my case, would it be advisable to keep in touch without being too attached to the outcome (what he says, if he replies or not)? The coach recommends keeping in touch as it would case tension in his current relationship, which is good for me.

Sweet Layla,

NC isn't about them, it's about you and taking your power back. Spend the time working on yourself and not worrying about what they are doing or not doing. They don't forget about us when we go NC on them, if anything they start to wonder more about us and what we are up to, why we've not been in touch etc etc. If you are doing PW or BWD you are connecting, but in a different way.

Don't be afraid to go NC.  It can be hard yes, I've been there, but it is also empowering. Much love. ❤
