Hello beautiful Loves!
I am new here and I have been learning a lot on this forum. Thank you for all of the wonderful advice and sharing you have all done. It has been wonderful reading your stories.
I been doing the PW and BWD techniques for a little over a month now. I have been thinking about doing the CTC technique but I am not clear on some things. I have read that if you do the technique it only cuts out the bad feelings but I do not understand that. Aren't you cutting all connection...all energetic cords? How is there a differentiation? I want to ONLY feel loving feelings and to also feel such a very deep heart connection with my poi. How does this only cut out the bad? I have moments of having doubts and fears and I am wondering if doing the CTC technique will help with that. I am also wondering if I am picking up resistance from my poi. I also do not want to feel any sort of neediness and send that to him.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I am a little nervous to do CTC because I am afraid it will create distance. I also read a few posts where people have said it helped and then also posts where some have said it made things worse or it's done when you want to completely disconnect from someone.

I think it's all relative honestly. I did CTC three days ago on my POI, just to see what might happen since I felt myself becoming a bit too attached to the outcome. The next morning I woke up feeling so much lighter, almost as if a light had been switched on! I still think of him of course but it is with much less frequency and it occurs in a way that feels "natural" if that makes sense. I feel more free to focus on other things while he's on his way to me!
I haven't done PW since doing CTC (which was two days before CTC). Last night, I dreamt of my POI and he said exactly what I heard him say to me in my last PW session. You can imagine how excited and pleased I was upon waking up!
I believe CTC creates positive distance between you and your POI- it can only be "worse" if you think it will.

Thank you so much for sharing that! I have been worried about feeling distance or disconnected in a negative way but the way you describe things sounds great. Feeling natural about things sounds much better. I know so much is based upon our thoughts and what we choose to see or believe. This is a fear I have and I think hearing other's experiences helps alleviate that. I have been feeling way too attached and needy. I might also try EFT because I feel great when I do it and it really does seem to help with any negative emotions. I know so much is based upon our thoughts and what we choose to see or believe.
I love that you heard your POI say exactly what he said in your PW session. That's so awesome!! You are obviously manifesting this on some level and dimension!

I think using EFT is a great idea! I’m doing it too. Don’t be discouraged! I’m confident that it will work out for you. I can relate to feeling attached too (of course), but I really do believe CTC is an effective tool. Keep us posted!

I ended up doing CTC and I have actually felt much better since then. I feel much less needy and I have felt more empowered. It has just felt like it's more important to focus on myself. I haven't done much EFT since that last post but I am planning on doing it tonight.
I saw my POI and they actually seemed more loving and I felt different. It has felt like my heart has opened up more and though I still feel connected I do not feel an unhealthy attachment so overall things feel better. I think that doing CTC has really helped with that. I also just keep thinking about what I want.
