Just need some encouragement to keep going. I know it's working, I've just been told by a friend that he is working on saving the relationship he is in now so I know It works and got into his head. I don't like posting about this worry because it brings it into reality the worry. I guess I'm just asking you wonderful people on this forum for some advice on how to best keep going with this and how to stop the doubt that he won't leave her. Feeling happy that it's working in some way but sad that he has decided to suppress his feelings for me. Thanks for the support 😘

Avoid getting news about him. And no matter what anybody tells you about him, ignore it as if you never heard it and keep going.

I'm pretty sure this was posted a few times but I'll repeat it as I love the analogy. When you are doing RS/RI, it's like filling up a bucket with drops of water. Sooner or later the bucket has to fill and overflow. There's no other way. For some, this may mean weeks, for others, it might be months but sooner or later he'll give in. Persistence is key. You can already see it working. Know that it is. Don't worry about the actual situation and give your attention to what you want. You've done so well. Keep going! Your bucket is filling 😀

That analogy really helps clarify it for me. Thanks for explaining it that way!
